Contract Hire
Contract Hire is a facility specifically associated with cars, light commercial vehicles and heavy goods vehicles and can include an option that provides service and maintenance as part of the monthly rental. Typically useful for businesses that own a fleet of vehicles or for individuals who have no interest in owning a vehicle and simply want the freedom to “hand it back” at the end of the contract.

It is a good solution for companies who want to concentrate on their core business activities, while avoiding the financial risk and administrative burden of owning their vehicle fleet.

The cost is based on the expected annual mileage the customer intends for the vehicle and in the event that this is exceeded the finance company charges an excess mileage penalty normally between 3 and 10p per mile depending on the vehicle.
