The Upside to Uncertainty – or Fixed Rate versus Variable Rate - 6th October 2009
One of the most important decisions you can make when arranging asset finance is whether to select a fixed or variable interest rate option.
This is something then many of our clients ask us about but very few know the answer to – that is until we explain the implications of each.
The truth is that there is no right or wrong answer. The decision to fix rates or to choose a variable rate option depends entirely on the circumstances of the deal, the circumstances of the customer, the nature of the asset, and the economic outlook.
Pull all these factors together, mix them up, and hope that the decision you reach is the right one for you, in the given situation.
